Azerbaijan's women's national football team played their next match in the World Cup qualifiers.
Led by head coach Siyasat Asgarov, the team faced Hungary. The match at Sumgayit's Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium ended with a 2:1 victory for Hungary. Khanim Asadova scored for Azerbaijan in the 74th minute.
In Group 3 of League C, Azerbaijan had previously defeated Andorra (3:1, 2:0) and North Macedonia (2:0) at home, but lost to Hungary 0:1 away.
The team's next match in the qualifiers will be against North Macedonia on June 9.
