The 23rd edition of the tournament begins with host nation Mexico taking on South Africa.

The match starts at 23:00 Baku time at the Mexico City Stadium, officiated by Brazilian referee Wilton Sampaio.

In the group's other match, South Korea faces Czech Republic at 06:00 Baku time at the Estadio Akron.
