World's Most Expensive Footballers - 2024 CIES Ranking

CIES has revealed the 2024 ranking of the most expensive footballers. Lamine Yamal leads with €358.1 million. Who else made the top 20?

World's Most Expensive Footballers - 2024 CIES Ranking

The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) has published its ranking of the world's most valuable footballers for 2024. The list includes 100 players, with transfer values estimated using CIES' proprietary statistical model.

Topping the list is 18-year-old Lamine Yamal. The Barcelona winger is valued at €358.1 million. Erling Haaland ranks second at €227.3 million, followed by Kylian Mbappe at €165.7 million.
