Barcelona's young star Lamine Yamal has been named the best player of the 2025/26 La Liga season, as announced on the league's official website.
The 18-year-old winger, a product of Barcelona's academy, has been playing for the first team since 2023. Last season, he scored 16 goals and provided 12 assists in 28 league appearances.
Yamal won the Spanish league with Barcelona this year. He also has two more league titles, two Spanish Super Cups, and one Copa del Rey in his trophy cabinet.
According to Transfermarkt, Yamal is currently the most valuable player in La Liga with a transfer value of €200 million.
