The new head coach of "Shafa" club has been appointed. Zaur Hashimov has been assigned to this position.

According to Oxu.Az, after the negotiation process, a meeting was held with the 44-year-old specialist in the presence of club president Kenan Sadigly, and a three-year contract was signed.

Zaur Hashimov is not a stranger to "Shafa" club. As a player, he wore the team's jersey and won the Azerbaijan Cup in the 2000/01 season.

Zaur Hashimov worked as a coach at "Gabala" and "Zira" clubs. He also served as head coach of a Baku club and led the Azerbaijan U-18 national team.
