The revival of the Baku-Tbilisi train has sparked renewed interest in regional travel. After a six-year hiatus, this route offers an alternative transport option and new tourist destinations.

Tour operator Afsun Ahmadov says demand is high: "Travel to Georgia via the Baku-Tbilisi train is now possible. While package tours are still limited, it has become easier to reach Turkey's Black Sea cities via Kars."

Prices range from $109 to $237 (185-403 AZN). According to tourism expert Gunel Shikhiyeva, a one-way ticket starts at 81 AZN. The most popular itinerary is "Baku-Tbilisi-Batumi-Trabzon-Uzungol."

Tourism specialist Aziz Shiriyev highlights the route's impact: "This step will boost tourist inflow, strengthen economic and cultural ties, and promote regional development."
