Dozens of Palestinians carried the body of Hamas' armed wing chief through Gaza City on Wednesday. Mohammad Odeh was killed in an Israeli strike a day earlier.
Odeh's wife and son were also killed in the attack. The Israeli military confirmed the targeted strike.
Hamas sources said Odeh may be the last surviving member of the group's higher military council.
Mourners vowed that Palestinian resistance would continue. Israel says the operation weakens Hamas.
At least 10 people were killed and 18 wounded in later strikes. The situation in Gaza remains tense.
