Russia delivered nuclear munitions to Belarus and displayed strategic nuclear forces as tensions with NATO rise over Ukraine.
Moscow is conducting major nuclear exercises with 64,000 troops, practicing the use of nuclear forces in case of aggression.
The drills include Borei-class submarines, MiG-31 jets with Kinzhal missiles, and Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles.
Nuclear munitions were moved to field storage in Belarus, Russia confirmed.
The exercises come as Putin warns the West not to overstep in Ukraine, with Baltic tensions also escalating.
Lithuania said NATO must show it can reach Russia's Kaliningrad exclave, drawing Kremlin criticism.
