U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday he is considering cancelling a planned series of concerts on Washington’s National Mall commemorating the nation’s 250th anniversary.

The move comes after several artists withdrew from the event, including Bret Michaels of Poison. Trump suggested replacing the concerts with a speech and political-style rally.

The concerts were part of the "Great American State Fair" organized by Freedom 250. Trump posted on Truth Social: "I am the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World."

It remains unclear if organizers will recruit new musicians or consider Trump's rally proposal.
