The European Union has abolished the duty-free regime for parcels valued under €150 from non-EU countries.
As of July 1, a fixed fee of €3 will be applied per product code, regardless of quantity.
The move targets cheap goods from platforms like Shein and Temu, which flood the European market.
Last year, nearly 6 billion online orders entered the EU, with 90% of cheap parcels coming from China.
The EU states the decision is not protectionist but aims to ensure fair competition and product safety. However, it may increase customs workload and cause delivery delays.
