Google has reinstated Telegram on the Indian Play Store after temporarily blocking the messaging app due to a suspected leak of exam questions.
According to The Times of India, iPhone users will have to wait for the app to appear on the App Store.
The Indian government restricted Telegram from June 16 to June 22 following recommendations from the National Testing Agency (NTA). The agency reported that several channels on Telegram were involved in selling fake exam tickets for the NEET medical entrance test and organizing fraud schemes.
