Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, along with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, has left for a one-day state visit to Pakistan.
Upon entering Pakistani airspace, the aircraft was escorted by six fighter jets. A ceremony was held at Nur Khan Airbase to welcome the Iranian delegation.
The ceremony was attended by Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
During the visit, bilateral relations and Pakistan's mediation in the US-Iran conflict will be discussed.
