The United Kingdom must be more flexible in its economic integration and trade policies to reach a broad agreement with the European Union (EU).
According to sources cited by Europe's "Politico" newspaper, without a change in London's core positions, revolutionary innovations are unlikely.
A European diplomat noted: "The Labour government is not taking bold steps. Otherwise, everyone will be disappointed and say: 'Brussels is punishing us.'"
