Residents of a building in Baku's Khatai district are frustrated by a broken elevator that has been out of service for years.
A complaint was submitted to Oxu.Az's hotline about the elevator at Khaliq Azizzade Street, Building 4, Block 6, which has been inoperable for five years.
According to residents, authorities have promised repairs annually but taken no real action.
The Khatai District Executive Authority confirmed the issue, stating: "Faulty elevators are being restored gradually. This building has been included in the plan, and the problem will be resolved by the end of the year."
