A significant personnel change has taken place at the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under the Ministry of Science and Education. Agency chairperson Ulkar Sattarova signed an order regarding the new appointment.
According to the order, Elvin Aliyev has been appointed as the head of the finance and economic sector of the agency. This decision aims to strengthen financial management within the organization.
Elvin Aliyev brings considerable professional experience to his new role. For the past seven months, he served as deputy head of department at the State Control Service for Water Use and Protection. Prior to that, from 2023 to 2025, he worked as a senior consultant at the very same agency he now leads a sector of.
Officials at the agency have confirmed the appointment. The new sector head has already assumed his duties.
