The National Hydrometeorology Service forecasts severe weather conditions across Azerbaijan until May 7. Heavy rains, thunderstorms, and strong winds are expected, prompting the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) to issue a warning to citizens.
Mudslides and flash floods are likely in mountainous areas. Residents are advised to avoid hazardous zones and move to higher ground immediately if flooding occurs.
During strong winds, stay away from lightweight structures, billboards, and power lines. Fire safety rules must be strictly followed in windy conditions.
