The personal assistant who gave Matthew Perry a fatal dose of ketamine was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison.
Judge Sherilyn Garnett sentenced Kenneth Iwamasa, who found Perry face down in a hot tub at his LA home in October 2023.
Prosecutors said Iwamasa injected Perry at the actor's request before leaving to run errands. Perry was dead when he returned.
An autopsy concluded Perry died from acute effects of ketamine, causing him to lose consciousness and drown.
Iwamasa pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute ketamine resulting in death.
