The U.S. Supreme Court has already boosted President Donald Trump and Republicans in the battle over redrawing electoral maps. In coming weeks, it could rule in their favor in two more election-related cases before November's midterms.
In a Mississippi case, Republicans seek to strike down laws allowing late-arriving mail ballots with Election Day postmarks. Trump has cast doubt on mail ballot security, though fraud is rare.
In a separate case involving Trump's VP JD Vance, Republicans aim to further chip away at limits on money in political campaigns, arguing they violate First Amendment free speech protections.
Rulings in both cases are expected by late June. Republicans are defending slim majorities in the House and Senate.
