President Ilham Aliyev and Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow held a joint press conference after their talks.
The head of state said that discussions took place both one-on-one and in an expanded format. Many issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, and future development paths were identified.
Aliyev thanked Turkmenistan for its assistance in the restoration of Karabakh. He specifically recalled the initiative to build a mosque in Fuzuli city, noting that the project has already begun implementation.
The president also emphasized the work of the Intergovernmental Commission in the coming months, expressing confidence that the assigned tasks will be fully developed.
