Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in his address on Constitution Day that the adoption of a new constitution remains on the agenda of the ruling Civil Contract Party.
According to Armenian media, Pashinyan emphasized that the pre-election program of the parliamentary majority includes the adoption of a new constitution.
Pashinyan highlighted the importance of the constitution in establishing rule of law and constitutional order, as well as ensuring an organic connection between the government and the people.
