A train carrying wheat from Russia to Armenia has transited through Azerbaijan.
The 14-wagon train, weighing 976 tons, departed from Bilejeri station of "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC. The cargo is headed towards Boyuk Kesik station.
The train will pass through Georgia before reaching Armenia. To date, over 35,000 tons of grain, nearly 8,000 tons of fertilizer, 133 tons of aluminum, 68 tons of buckwheat, and 414 tons of anthracite have been shipped via this route.
Additionally, over 14,000 tons of diesel and nearly 5,000 tons of gasoline have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
