US President Donald Trump stated that he is ready to accept the risk of a global economic crisis to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Speaking at the White House, Trump said: "Nuclear weapons are more dangerous than an economic crisis. An economic crisis is very bad, but nuclear weapons can lead to even more severe consequences, even depression."
Trump emphasized that if Iran does not comply with agreements, Washington is prepared to take additional steps.
