Media representatives toured the Baku Olympic Stadium (BOS) to observe preparations for WUF13.
At the accreditation center, journalists learned that the event area covers 53 hectares, with 43 hectares for the main event and 10 hectares for the transport terminal and parking zone.
The stadium is divided into zones: Zone A includes five streets named after Azerbaijani cities. Special reception and rest areas are allocated for high-level guests.
The opening and closing ceremonies will take place in a hall seating up to 6,000 people. The main discussion zone spans 3.55 hectares, featuring meeting halls, thematic sessions, UN events, parallel meetings, and bilateral talks.
The forum plans up to 300 parallel sessions daily. Interpretation services will be available in all six UN official languages, plus Azerbaijani and Turkish. International sign language service will be provided for people with disabilities.
Over 35 catering points will operate, with price controls in place. The media center, with a capacity of 600 people, includes workstations, live broadcast and interview rooms, a press conference hall, TV studios, and a media lounge.
Primary and backup data centers, extensive fiber-optic and internal networks, wireless equipment, and an operations center ensure uninterrupted internet and broadcast services. The tour concluded with a Q&A session.
