Residents of Sattar Bahlulzade Street, one of the central streets of Shamakhi, are suffering from road problems.
They reported that floodwaters and heavy rains have completely destroyed the street's infrastructure.
“I have fallen twice here, breaking my arm and leg. The road is so bad that ambulances cannot enter. We even beg young people to help carry flour home. I cannot even go buy bread. Living in these conditions is impossible,” one resident expressed dissatisfaction.
The situation is also unfavorable on Jalil Mammadguluzade Street, where the lack of asphalt restricts movement and causes serious difficulties.
Shamakhi District Executive Authority stated that the asphalt paving of city roads is being carried out gradually: “Asphalting of streets has already begun and work will continue.”
