Maleyka Abbaszade, chairperson of the State Examination Center (DİM), stated that school grades often do not match exam results. In an interview with Trend and Baku TV, she explained that centralized assessment is based on uniform standards, while in-school grading is comparative.
Graduation exams are the main criterion for university admission. Comparative tables are published annually, and analyses show that grading is becoming more accurate in some subjects.
