A 15-year gas supply agreement has been signed between Turkey's BOTAŞ, SOCAR, TotalEnergies and ADNOC.

The deal was inked during the Baku Energy Week, with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in attendance.

Starting in 2029, a total of 33 billion cubic meters of natural gas will be transported from the Absheron field to Turkey.

This strategic step supports Turkey's vision of becoming an energy hub and will contribute to Europe's energy security.
