From January to May this year, the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population paid 937 million manat in benefits and presidential pensions to 1,021,000 people.
According to the ministry, out of this amount, 529 million manat were allocated as state budget benefits to 505,000 people, 339 million manat as presidential pensions to 407,000 people, and 69 million manat as social insurance benefits to 109,000 people.
Compared to the same period last year, state budget benefits increased by 15%, and pensions by 17%.
Additionally, 64,000 benefits and pensions were assigned proactively via the electronic system in January-May, making a total of 944,000 since 2019.
