ADB allocates $3.5 billion to Caspian countries

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has allocated $3.5 billion for Caspian countries. This was announced by Norio Saito, Director General of ADB's Water and Urban Development Sector, at the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

He stated that the bank is discussing new projects with Azerbaijan. The water supply system in Baku is planned to be improved.

Creating new water sources will benefit agriculture. The number of wastewater treatment plants will be increased.
