A new bill amending the Land Code has been discussed in the Milli Majlis committees.
The bill introduces the consolidation of agricultural land. This process involves merging, dividing, or redefining boundaries of land plots based on owner consent and equivalent market value.
Ownership rights will be re-registered, and infrastructure changes for irrigation, roads, and energy will be implemented.
A commission will approve the consolidation project. Landowners will receive compensation if the market value decreases.
