The Audit Chamber has undergone structural changes. Chairman Vahid Novruzov signed a decree on the matter.
A new "Department for Special Audits, Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, Internal Control and Forensic Analysis" has been established, reporting directly to the chairman.
The department will handle compliance, legal expertise, special audits, forensic analysis, ethical oversight, risk monitoring, professional oversight, and internal control functions.
The new department will consist of four divisions. At the same time, the previous department and several divisions were abolished, with their functions integrated into the new one.
The goal is to enhance transparency, professional responsibility, ethical conduct, compliance culture, and risk-based control in the audit system.
