Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy and Business Affairs Caleb Orr.
The meeting was held within the framework of Baku Energy Week. The parties discussed strategic priorities for economic partnership.
Topics included expanding trade and investment ties, cooperation in energy, artificial intelligence, digitalization, critical minerals and mining.
The role of strengthening regional connectivity in boosting economic activity was emphasized. Azerbaijan's position as a reliable platform connecting Europe, Central Asia, the South Caucasus and the Middle East was highlighted.
Both sides stressed the importance of diversifying economic cooperation, applying innovative technologies and strengthening private sector links.
