Banks' loan interest income hits 1.45 bn manat

In Jan-Apr 2024, Azerbaijani banks earned 1.45 bn manat in loan interest income, up 20.1% YoY. Loan portfolio reached 30.6 bn manat.

In January-April of this year, Azerbaijani banks earned 1 billion 449.5 million manat in interest income on loans to customers.

This figure is up 20.1% compared to the same period last year.

As of May 1, the banks' loan portfolio amounted to 30 billion 609.2 million manat. Of this, 16.3 billion manat were business loans, 9.6 billion manat consumer loans, and 4.7 billion manat mortgage loans.
