The price of Brent crude on the London ICE exchange has fallen below $73 per barrel for the first time since February 27.
According to auction data, Brent crude dropped by 1.02% to $72.99 per barrel at 05:01 Baku time.
By 05:21, the decline continued, with prices falling to $72.89 per barrel, a decrease of 1.15%.
