According to the Chamber of Accounts, the main burden of economic growth is carried by the transport and trade sectors.

Deputy Tahir Mirkishili emphasized that growth must be formed on a broader basis. The service sector dominates growth, but productivity and value-creating fields need development.

He also commented on inflation: in 2025, average annual inflation reached 5.6%. Both import inflation and domestic tariff increases played a role.

Speaking at the Milli Majlis meeting, Mirkishili stressed the importance of stronger coordination between fiscal and monetary policies.
