The scope of violations related to seed legislation is expanding.
According to Oxu.Az, the issue is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Code of Administrative Offenses.
Under the draft, penalties apply for production, processing, procurement, storage, transportation, trade, import, and export of seeds not meeting legal requirements; unregistered seed activities; and false information on seed containers, labels, or documents about plant variety, origin, or quality.
Individuals face fines of 100-150 manats, officials 300-500 manats, and legal entities 1000-1500 manats.
Additionally, intentionally entering false or distorted data into the information system incurs the same fines.
