Hikmat Abdullayev, deputy vice-president of SOCAR, spoke at the 31st International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition.

At the panel on reducing emissions in upstream operations, he highlighted that operational companies face challenges in accessing new technologies.

Abdullayev emphasized that serious achievements are impossible without cooperation.

"Like technology companies, operational companies do not have easy access to new technologies, latest research, and scientific advancements. Therefore, without cooperation, significant achievements are not possible," he stated.
