Azerbaijan has the potential to play a key role in energy connectivity. Abdulla Zayed, Director of Business Development at Masdar, stated at the 31st Baku Energy Forum that the country can serve as a hub for large-scale renewable energy projects.

Zayed noted: “Azerbaijan has abundant natural resources such as solar and wind energy. A favorable regulatory environment exists for foreign investors.”

He also emphasized that Azerbaijan is successfully transitioning from a hydrocarbon economy to a low-carbon model, sending a strong signal to the world.
