Azerbaijan is entering a new phase in the agricultural sector. This was stated by Niyazi Amirbayov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Grain Producers and Processors Association, in an interview with Oxu.Az.
He noted that the State Program for 2026-2030, approved at a meeting chaired by President Ilham Aliyev, aims to improve quality indicators in agriculture.
Key targets include increasing wheat productivity to 50 centners per hectare by 2030, improving irrigation methods, and constructing grain silos. The program will also boost economic activity in the regions.
