Global oil prices have seen a sharp decline.

Brent crude futures for August delivery on London's ICE fell below $89 a barrel for the first time since April.

Brent dropped 4.77% to $88.66 per barrel.

On NYMEX, WTI crude futures for July fell 4.63% to $85.86 per barrel.
