Gold futures on the Comex exchange fell below $4,200 per troy ounce for the first time since June 12.
At 06:06 Baku time, gold dropped 1.12% to $4,198.2 per ounce.
By 06:10, the decline slowed to $4,199.3 per ounce (-1.1%).
Silver futures for July delivery fell 2.25% to $64.825 per ounce.
On NYMEX, palladium declined 1.09% to $1,275 per ounce, while platinum dropped 2.41% to $1,666.1 per ounce.
