SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf spoke at the 31st Baku Energy Forum.
He said SOCAR is investing in AI and data centers.
“For long-term competitiveness, we invest in these areas,” Najaf noted.
The company is transforming from an oil firm into an energy and technology company.
Najaf emphasized that the number of foreign experts at SOCAR is increasing.
“Previously, SOCAR was mainly an Azerbaijani company; now we are becoming an international company,” he stated.
