On June 1, within the framework of the Baku Energy Week, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with John Ardill, Vice President of ExxonMobil Corporation.

During the meeting, it was noted that the long-term partnership relations between SOCAR and ExxonMobil Corporation in the energy sector have been successfully developing. The start of first free natural gas production from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli block was emphasized as an important historical event.
The conversation reviewed the work done under the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year between the companies, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
