On June 1, within the framework of the Baku Energy Week, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Gary Guidry, President and CEO of Gran Tierra Energy Inc.

During the meeting, the dynamic development of relations between the companies was noted with satisfaction. The work carried out on the implementation of the "Production Sharing Agreement for Exploration, Development and Production of the Onshore Prospective Area in the Guba-Caspian Region of the Republic of Azerbaijan" signed between SOCAR and Gran Tierra Energy Inc. in February of this year was reviewed.
The parties exchanged views on opportunities for further expanding cooperation in upstream activities and other issues of mutual interest.
