Azerbaijan is fully digitizing its treasury system. Finance Minister Sahil Babayev stated in an interview with AzTV and AZERTAC that the Digital State Finance System has been launched.

The minister noted that all electronic platforms for budget forecasting, execution, treasury operations, and risk-based audits are being integrated into a single database. The phased implementation will reduce payment processing time to one day initially and to two hours by the end of the year.

The electronic contract portal is already operational. Since April, all state agencies have joined the system. This increases accessibility for the private sector, ensures transparency, and optimizes budget funds.
