Ukraine has become a critical strategic provider of counter-drone expertise and advanced defense technology, according to Bond.az. Leveraging four years of experience against Iranian-designed drones, Ukraine is transitioning from aid recipient to global security contributor.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has conducted multiple tours in the Gulf region, deploying specialized teams of 200 troops to demonstrate drone-interception platforms. Ukraine has also established drone-manufacturing plants in Europe and introduced its Delta battlespace management software to Western militaries.

Following the US troop withdrawal from Europe, Ukrainian technologies are seen as vital for European defense. The EU approved a $105 billion support package for Ukraine in April.

However, Middle East conflicts create challenges. Intensive missile exchanges in the Gulf deplete Patriot interceptor supplies. High oil prices boost Russian revenues. In response, Ukraine launches mass drone strikes on Russian oil infrastructure.
