U.S. stock index futures edged lower Monday as rising Treasury yields and oil prices weighed on markets.

The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield hit 4.631%, its highest since February 2025, before easing to 4.607%.

Oil prices surged on geopolitical tensions, with Brent crude trading at $110.66 a barrel.

Traders now see over 40% chance of a Fed rate hike in January, according to CME's FedWatch tool.

Investors await key earnings from Nvidia and Walmart later this week.
