The World Bank plans to allocate $410 million for the "Livable Baku" project.
The project is expected to be approved by February 18, 2027.
It aims to improve environmental conditions in Baku, targeting waste management, polluted lakes, and oil-contaminated land.
Total cost is $501.25 million, with Azerbaijan contributing $91.25 million.
Four components: waste management, lake remediation, institutional strengthening, and project management.
The project supports Baku's Master Plan 2040.
