President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the importance of the Zangezur Corridor at an international conference in Shusha.
He noted that the corridor will connect mainland Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan and become a key segment of the Middle Corridor.
MP Alibala Maharramzade stated that the corridor will strengthen peace between Baku and Yerevan.
He emphasized that Zangezur Corridor will play a major role in transporting Chinese goods to Europe.
The MP added that the corridor will gain significance comparable to the Panama and Suez Canals.
