American rapper Kanye West attracted approximately 118,000 spectators to his concert at Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, setting a world record for stadium concerts.

According to Oxu.Az, the news was reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta. Various estimates suggest the concert generated between $50-100 million in revenue for the city budget.

The previous record was held by British rock band Coldplay, who performed in front of 111,000 fans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India in January 2025.
