Famous French singer arrested: 13 women accuse him

Patrick Bruel, a well-known French singer and actor, has been arrested by police.

The Nanterre prosecutor's office says the 67-year-old artist is being questioned on charges of sexual violence, attempted rape, and rape.

Thirteen women accuse Bruel of sexual crimes allegedly committed between 1997 and 2012. Following the investigation, he canceled most of his planned tour in Paris.

His lawyers stated he is innocent and will cooperate. Among the accusers is TV presenter Flavie Flament.
